What is the New Driver CPC Periodic Training?
As of September 10, 2009 all current drivers of commercial vehicles (Any vehicle which has a Tachograph fitted) must undertake 35 hours authorised training in the next 5 years. (Before Sept. 2014)
This is an EU regulation (2003/59/EC) and once you have completed the 35 hours training you will be issued with a Drivers Qualification Card.
The Training will then be ongoing in five year blocks.
What does this mean for you?
In order to continue driving you will need to complete 7 hours of training a year to ensure that over the 5 year period you comply with the regulations and meet the statutory 35 hours.
How can we help you?
We appreciate that your time is spent on your business and that you may forget to book your yearly training, so we will make sure you get timely reminders.
We have the flexibility to meet your business requirements and can facilitate the training on and off your premises and at times to meet your needs.
